Greg McManus PT, DPT, MS, ATC

Greg earned his Masters of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1998 and a Doctor of Physical Therapy from A.T Still University in 2013. His undergraduate work from the University of North Dakota in 1994 earned him a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.

In 1998, Greg built a successful career in Birmingham, Alabama, where he was employed as a physical therapist and athletic trainer for an outpatient hospital practice. His employment included being the head athletic trainer for the Birmingham Steeldogs Arena Football League, assistant trainer to the Birmingham Bulls East Coast Hockey League, regional sports medicine coordinator for the United States Under-17 Men’s National Soccer Team and Sports Medicine Co-Director for the hospital affiliated programs.

In 2003 Greg moved to Farmington, NM, and in 2006 established Therapy One. He is very active with state and local organizations that include being the Treasurer for the New Mexico Chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association (NMAPTA) and Access Physical Therapy Political Action Committee. Locally, Greg has been very involved with Farmington’s sports medicine development including sponsorship for the Connie Mac World Series, the Four Corners Foundation for Sports Medicine, and he continues to lend a hand to our area’s athletic trainers on any given day and night.

Greg specializes in treating a wide span of orthopedic conditions, having received certifications and training in Functional Dry Needling 1 & 2, Active Release, Functional Capacity Evaluations, ASTYM & Graston tool assisted release, custom foot orthotics, spinal manipulation, and other manual spinal and periphery techniques.

Greg and his wife Reann have a daughter and a son and reside in Flora Vista. His primary activity these days is playing with his kids; however you may find him snow skiing, running, or alpine climbing.
